#TackleTBR Mid-Point Check In!

Last week ended up being a lot busier than I was expecting, between work, rescuing a lost horse, getting my entries ready for the fair, and then going to the fair, I didn't end up having much reading time until yesterday, I've only read one and a half books so far during this read-a-thon. But I'm hoping this coming week will be less busy and I'll have more free time to read!

I read the last half of:

And I read this one from start to finish:

  7. Wasn't The King really good in a very sinister/suspenseful way?!! Very well written and I loved the characters, except for the one villain, but he was a very good villain. I hope this week is less busy. The fair? What did you enter?

    1. It was very good, I don't think it was my absolute favorite of the series, but still I loved it! Thanks! I entered some maple frosted brownies, a pair of baby booties that I had knitted, and a photo I had taken of one of the carousel horses! The brownies and the booties both won blue ribbons, and the photo won a red ribbon! It was really exciting! Thanks for asking! :)

  9. Sometimes life gets in the way of reading. We do have other priorities. Glad you were able to rescue the horse! Hope this week is a little more relaxing.
