Review of Christy Miller Collection Volume One by Robin Jones Gunn 4 Stars!!!

This is an excellent book! In my opinion this series is very relatable to tween and teen girls of any age and background. The characters are all very realistic and likable. I really liked how faith and having a relationship with God were such prominent aspects of these first three books of this series. These books are excellent examples of learning life lessons and finding true forever friends! But best of all teens will learn that their commitment to and love for God ALWAYS comes first! These books have a timeless quality about them and in my opinion will never be out of print, as they will continue being excellent reads for teen girls! This was my first time reading books by this author, but I really liked her writing style! I highly recommend this series to all teens, in this day of very impure young adult books, these are books that their parents will approve of!!! Click HERE to visit the authors website, HERE for more info, HERE for the authors bio and HERE to read chapter one I recieved this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah in exchange for an honest review, my review was not required to be positive, the above review is my honest opinion. Future Savior Book Four: Desecration blog tour

Hi everyone! Well if you have read my blog at all you will know that I am crazy about the Future Savior series by Jennifer Hartz. And today I am thrilled to be taking part in this blog tour to celebrate the December 1st release of Desecration, the fourth book in the series!
Today Jennifer Hartz is joining me with a top five list of the books that inspire her... Take it away Jennifer...
Here's my top five book choices (in no particular order!): 1. The Stand by Stephen King This was the first post-apocalyptic book I ever read and I was enthralled. If you're familiar with The Stand then you know there is also a heavy Good vs. Evil theme running through the book. It may not seem like it right now, but both of these weigh heavily into The Future Savior Series. 2. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling I probably could list any Harry Potter book, but Azkaban was the one that REALLY pulled me into the series. The time travel element of the time turner was so cool! Obviously, I'm a huge fan of time travel stories. 3. The Lord of the Rings the Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien I don't know if I need a whole lot of commentary on how much the Lord of the Rings have influenced me! After you read FS4: Desecration you'll see that my love for Tolkien's series is even bigger than you may think. 4. The Hunger Games by Suzan Collins I know this list is supposed to be about books that influenced The Future Savior Series... but I couldn't list books without listing this one. I actually read this series after I wrote the first three FS books and I'm listing it here because... well, they're awesome! 5. Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren Like The Hunger Games, I didn't read The River of Time series until after I wrote the first three books of FS. However, I think Bergren's series helped shape my writing of Desecration. I'm honestly thankful I read Bergren's series before writing FS4 because I believe Desecration is the best out of the four FS books!
And now I (Caitlyn here) have a short piece of Future Savior fan fiction that I would like to share today! Enjoy!... DISCLAIMER This is purely fan fiction, no profit is intended from it whatsoever! One night at dusk, Shaw and I went for a stroll around Verna Mount. We walked hand in hand under the ever darkening sky, we walked through a field of flowers that resembled daisies but had bright purple petals. It was in this enchanting field that Shaw stopped suddenly and turned me toward him. "Would you like to dance, Christina?" I couldn't help laughing. "Right now?" I asked. "Sure, why not?" Shaw was grinning like a kid who had just met the real Santa Claus. "Well, for one thing, there isn't any music," I stated. "What about the wind," Shaw said as a sudden gust of wind blew my hair in my face. I scowled. "Secondly it is almost dark, and I can't even see what is directly in front of my face," I looked up at the murky starless sky. "How do you expect me to dance?" I asked. Shaw didn't answer. He lifted our hands which were still twined together, and wrapped his other hand around behind my back. I sighed and placed my hand on his shoulder. He took a step and I tensed, I really didn't want to look like an idiot stumbling around in the dark. Although I couldn't see his face, I could feel Shaw smiling down at me. "Relax, close your eyes and listen," he said. I sighed but did as he said. And suddenly I could hear all the sounds of the coming night swirling into the most beautiful music I had ever heard. I let the music move my heart and soul. "Open your eyes," Shaw whispered in my ear. When I opened my eyes I noticed that apparently the music had moved my body as well, although I had been unaware of it. Shaw and I were twirling gracefully with such skill it felt like we belonged in a 19th century ballroom. Shaw lifted our arms and twirled me twice. Suddenly I noticed that I could see his face, I looked up at the sky and gasped in delight. There were more stars than I had ever seen before and they were shining nearly as bright as day, almost as if the Creator of the universe was smiling at us. Suddenly I realized with awe that this was true, God had orchestrated this perfect moment just for us. Shaw smiled at me and nodded, almost as if he had heard my thought. He pulled me closer and we continued waltzing under the brilliant sky to the soaring music of God's symphony. Review of Unending Devotion by Jody Hedlund 5 Stars!!!

This was my first book by this author, it will not be my last! Unending Devotion is an enthralling, amazing, incredible read! I thoroughly loved reading it! The author fabulously blended historical romance with just enough suspense to keep you completely engaged in the story! The character development, settings, dialogue, and every bit of the plot were first rate! I really can't put into words how much I loved this book, I loved Lily and her mission to save the world, I loved Connell, I loved Oren, but most of all I loved the fact that both Connell and Lily grow in the Lord throughout the course of the novel! I can't say anymore for fear of entering spoiler territory! But I will say that this book  is fabulous, I loved it and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone who enjoy historical fiction with romance!!! I received this book for free from Bethany House publishers in exchange for my honest review. The above is my honest opinion. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review of Against The Tide by Elizabeth Camden 5 Stars!!!

I cannot begin to find the words to describe how much I am in love with this book! Everything about it is excellent, amazing settings, fabulous characters, fascinating historical facts, touching romance, and fantastic writing that makes you smile, laugh and tear up! What more could you want from a book? I was absolutely entranced from the first page, and as soon as I finished it, I  had a burning desire to read it again! It is officially one of my favorite books of the year and one of my all time favorites! I just have to say that Bane and Lydia are now at the top of  my list of all time favorite heroes and heroines!!! This was my first book by Elizabeth Camden, but I am now a fan of her writing and can't wait to read her other books! Another thing I loved about this book is that it had a perfect amount of adventure and suspense. Flawless and riveting, you will not regret reading this book! It is one of the most realistic historical novels I have ever read! I can't gush enough about this book, it is superb! I highly recommend it to anyone that loves historical romance!  Completely enthralling, one of the best books of the year!  I received this book for free from Bethany House publishers in exchange for my honest review. The above is my honest opinion. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review of A Christmas Home by Greg Kincaid 5 Stars!!!

Words truly cannot describe how simply wonderful this book is! I have not read the previous books in this series, but now I very much look forward to reading them! Some of my favorite things about this book are how heartwarming and real the story is! I am not a fan of excessive detail in writing, and I think that the author did an excellent job of giving enough detail and yet leaving you enough freedom to use your imagination! The prologue completely captured my heart, and I was captivated from that point on! This is a very quick read, I read it in less than a day, but every word is fabulous! With the holidays coming up I definitely plan on reading it again!  What more can I say, I loved it!!!  I highly recommend A Christmas Home to everyone!!!  Click HERE for the authors website, HERE for more info and HERE for the authors bio! Review of A Season For Tending by Cindy Woodsmall 5 Stars!!!

Review of A Season For Tending by Cindy Woodsmall. 5 Stars!!! To be honest I did not anticipate that I would like this book, I do not generally read Amish fiction because I don't like the way that a lot of authors portray their Amish characters, as worldly and shallow people that only care about themselves, all in an effort to make the characters relatable to readers! Just a personal pet peeve! But I was intrigued by this book and when I was given a chance to review it, I decided to give it a whirl. I ended up loving this book! The characters were perfect, and I loved the message of family and placing others needs ahead of your own! I loved Rhoda, I am in love with Jacob! And I also really loved Leah. I did not like Catherine, she really bugged me from the start. I also loved how big a part of the book gardening and canning were!!! I was surprised at how much I loved everything about this book, it really stirred me (I found myself smiling and chuckling an unmentionable number of times while reading it!) and I can't find words to describe how much I enjoyed it! My only complaints are the cliffhanger ending and the fact that it looks like it's heading toward a love triangle, I am not really a fan of love triangles, but we shall have to see where it goes! I can't wait for the next book to come out!!!  I highly recommend A Season For Tending to anyone who enjoys Amish fiction. And to all those don't usually read this genre, I am here to tell you this is not your average Amish fiction, this book is something special, which I definitely encourage you to try!!! I will definitely read this again and can't wait to read the rest of this series.  I recieved this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah in exchange for an honest review, my review was not required to be positive, the above review is my honest opinion. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review of Twice A Bride by Mona Hodgson 4 Stars!!!

After reading and loving the third book in this series (The Bride Wore Blue) I was thrilled to be transported back to Cripple Creek and the characters that I had fallen in love with! In my opinion Twice A Bride is a phenomenal conclusion to this series, which fans of the Sinclair Sisters as well as new readers will devour!!! I love the authors writing style and especially that God and family are the top priorities of her characters lives! Mona portrays 1890's Colorado so well that you really feel like you are there! I will stop myself now to keep from giving away too much of the plot. My only complaint is that the story seemed to lag at times, however, having said that there were many points when I didn't know what was going to happen next, I loved that!!! I cannot wait to go back and read the first two books in this series!!! I highly recommend this book to fans of this series or anyone who enjoys reading historical romance! I recieved this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah in exchange for my honest review. I have done so. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review of Whispers In The Wind by Lauraine Snelling 5 Stars!!!

I loved this book! This was the first book I have read by Lauraine Snelling and I can tell you now it will not be the last!!! I had not read the first book in this series before reading this one, but it was not confusing at all and now I can't wait to go back and read the first one! I loved the authors writing style and the characters, especially Cassie. She is so human and her personality is so much like me that I fell in love with her immediately! Also, I am very  blessed to own my dream horse, a pinto whose personality is almost exactly like Wind Dancer's, needless to say Cassie and Wind Dancer's bond really touched my heart!!! I absolutely loved everything about this book! However, while it does seem to be leading that way, there is almost no romance in this book, a fact that I found very refreshing and welcome, but that romance lovers should be aware of! I cannot say enough about how awesome this book is! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves historical fiction! I cannot wait for the next book! Lauraine Snelling has a new fan in me! I recieved this book for free from Bethany House in exchange for my honest review. I have done so. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review of The Girl In The Glass by Susan Meissner 4 Stars!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I loved getting to learn about Florence, Italy! The premise and message of the story were really neat and I loved Sofia's writing! Also, as a lover of historical anything I really loved the parts of the story that were told from Nora's perspective in the 1500s. I felt like the story did lag a bit in places and the ending felt a bit rushed and left me with a few unresolved questions, but I think my very favorite part of this book was the last couple of pages of what I would call the epilogue! Read it and you'll see what I mean!!! I really did like this book and I can anticipate reading it again. Because there were questions left unanswered I really hope there will be a sequel!!! I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys books about Italy, finding yourself and a bit of history! Oh and a sprinkle of romance!!!

Review of Be Still My Soul by Joanne Bischof 4 Stars!!!

I enjoyed this book. It is definitely unique in that you are not supposed to like the hero for much of the book! I found myself really relating to Lonnie a lot, her life and struggles felt believable. The story flowed nicely but sometimes I got a little confused as to how much time had gone by. I fell in love with Jebediah and Elsie immediately! I liked Jebediah's approach to teaching Gideon the lessons he needed to learn! This book is written in third person POV alternating between Lonnie and Gideon, it really helped to get inside Gideon's head. Overall I found Be still My Soul to be a good one time read, this writer definitely has talent and I look forward to reading the next installment in this series! I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys historical romance, especially in the Appalachian mountains described so beautifully by the author! Please note there is a tiny bit of non graphic sexual content that was coerced by Gideon, their is also some moonshine and a bit of violence, nothing terrible but just be aware. Review of Almost Amish by Kathryn Cushman 5 Stars!!!

This book left me speechless! I could not come up with any words to describe how much I loved it, I will try to now but I can't make any promises! I truly felt when the characters were on the farm that I was reading a chronicle of my own life! I loved Angie, she is so much like me it's scary! I grew up watching and loving the PBS show Frontier House and this book is very similar to that show. I knew when I read the summary of this book that I would love it and I am pleased to report that I loved it even more than I thought I would! The message of contentment and the conclusions that the characters came to about life are the exact same ones I have come to in my own life and it was awesome to feel like the author really GOT me! I believe everyone would love this book and I think it should be required reading for all! Almost Amish really touched me personally! This book is absolutely incredible! All I can say is I really hope the author will write a sequel, I am not ready to let these characters go!!!

Review of Inescapable by Nancy Mehl 5 Stars!!!

Inescapable is the first book I have read by this author. I immensely enjoyed it. I do not generally read Amish or Mennonite fiction, not because I don't respect them but because I do have a very deep respect for them and I feel like most authors portray them as being regular characters with worldly struggles just like everyone else, that just so happen to live in an Amish or Mennonite community, this is not true, the Amish and Mennonite's lives are not like ours and the reason why is because they know what really matters in life and what doesn't. I know that the authors do this in an effort to make worldly people better able to relate to the characters, but me and my family attempt to live by Amish values as much as possible and it really gets under my skin when authors portray their characters as acting like and doing the same dumb things as everybody else. Okay I'm down off my soap box! Everything I just said does not apply this author, her characters are perfectly accurate Mennonite's and completely charming and believable. I was swept into this story from the first page. I loved Lizzie, I found myself relating to her a lot. I was completely in love with Noah from his first entrance in the story! Charity was absolutely adorable and reminded me so much of myself as a little girl. I also loved the suspense, my personal definition of suspense is when you don't have a clue what is going to happen next, this book is full of those kinds of twists and turns. I was completely fascinated by this book and very much look forward to the next book in the series! I highly recommend this book, even if you don't usually read books in this genre either for the above mentioned reasons or for other reasons I would encourage you to give this book a try! I loved it! The author has a new fan in me!!!

I received this book for free from Bethany House publishers in exchange for an honest review. Which I have done. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review of The Orphan King by Sigmund Brouwer 5 Stars!!!

This is the first book I have ever read by this author. But I thoroughly enjoyed The Orphan King from start to finish! It has two of my favorite things, it is set in medieval England, and it has the beginnings of what I know will be an awesome good versus evil battle in the coming books! I was fascinated by all the characters but especially Katherine, William the cryptic knight, and Thomas our hero. Thomas is just so cool and brilliant, I don' t often read books that have a young male hero as the main character, but I am very glad I read this one, throughout the book Thomas felt to me like a good, medieval, Artemis Fowl. What an interesting conundrum, huh? If that doesn't pique your interest I don't know what will. The Orphan King was brilliantly written, at the end we still don't know much about the immortals and basically more new questions are brought into the story than old questions resolved! It was a short read, I read it in a day. I highly recommend The Orphan King and I anxiously await the next book in this series. What can I say, I'm hooked!!! Click HERE to check out the authors site. HERE for the authors bio. HERE for more info. And HERE To read chapter one.

Review of Future Savior book three: Evacuation by Jennifer Hartz 5 Stars!!!

Three words. Oh. My. Gosh! I can't count how many times I said those words as I was reading Evacuation! Jennifer Hartz hit it out of the park yet again! I love, love, LOVE this series and Evacuation most definitely did not disappoint! There really are no words to describe it, awesome? Amazing? Incredible? None of those words do Evacuation justice, it is phenomenal! From the first page I was swept away yet again and it was like I had never left Meric! I was so excited to be back with these characters, I especially adore Drexton, Beliza and Markella!  I don't want to risk spoiling it for anybody, but let me just say, I didn't think I could be anymore entranced by Shaw but I was proven wrong, if you love Shaw and want to know more about him , you 're gonna go nuts over what is in this one! Evacuation is full of amazing twists and turns, many of which I did not and would not in a million years have seen coming! Jennifer Hartz is a master not only of fantasy but also suspense as it all came down to a killer cliffhanger that left me whining yet again about how much Jennifer tortures her poor readers! LOL!!! I am so in love with this series, they are books I have been waiting all my life to find!  I think that Evacuation is my favorite so far! There is no possible way Evacuation could have been any better, it is absolutely perfect! My only complaint is that Desecration the next installment isn't being released until December! I cannot wait for it because I am positive it will be out of this world!!! If you are a fan of this series you will not be disappointed by Evacuation! If you haven't started this series yet, then what in the world are you waiting for? Go get them now!

Review of Trusting God by Sharon Jaynes, Gwen Smith and Mary Southerland 5 stars!

This is an excellent devotional. It is designed to be a twelve week program and I read it in just a few days but I know that I will use it many times in the future to my inspire me to trust God even more! I loved that the authors used moments from their own lives to get their point across! I felt my love and trust for Jesus and God grow as I was reading this book! This is one of the best devotionals I have ever found, I highly recommend it! I recieved this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah. I was not required to write a positive review but simply to express my personal opinion of this book. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review of The Bride Wore Blue by Mona Hodgson 4.5 stars!

I have not read the first two books in this series. But when I was offered a chance to review this book from the publisher I jumped at the chance! And I am glad I did! I so enjoyed getting to know these characters, although I did have a bit of trouble keeping them all straight in the beginning, but I think this was probably because I haven't read the previous books, yet. The four sisters were all very unique and charming and their relationships with each other were very realistic. I am blessed to have a wonderful family that bands together through the good and the bad, so I will always love to read about families that do the same, this is one of those books! I loved the message of this book, learning that God still loves you unconditionally, even after you have sinned and although you feel unworthy, you have His forgiveness. Basically this story was awesome and I loved reading it! The only thing that kept me from giving it five stars was that it moved slowly and the plot line progressed slower than I would have liked. Because of this it could be kind of hard to get into the swing of things, but persevere, it is totally worth it! I very much enjoyed this book, honestly I usually stay away from series like this because I feel like most of them are all the same but this series has something  unique and special about it. I know fans of this series will love this book and as a new fan of this author I am here to say that you do not need to read the previous books in order for this one to make sense. I love series like that. However I look forward to going back and reading the previous books. I absolutely recommend this book.  Mona Hodgson definitely has a new fan in me!  I recieved this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review but simply to express my personal opinion of this book. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review of Future Savior Series book two: Resurrection by Jennifer Hartz 5 Stars!!!

This month I had two sequels that were tied for first place on my “Dying to read list” they were “Future Savior Series book two: Resurrection” by Jennifer Hartz and “Tributary” (River of time series) by Lisa Bergren! Well life got in the way, but when I finally got to read them boy, did my Kindle get a workout! Where, oh where do I even begin, Resurrection is incredible, I was overjoyed at being reunited with my beloved characters, yes I am beginning to feel that I know these characters, and due to the great talent of the author I feel like I have taken up residence in Meric and that I really do go on all the adventures with them! There are not words to describe Resurrection, it is out of this world!!! I didn't think it was possible but I loved this one even more than the first one! As with the first book in the series, I absolutely loved all the scenes that had Biblical parallels. Those scenes especially, really made me want to grab my Bible so that I could read about the real events!!! Amazing characters, gorgeous settings, breathtaking action and romance, what's not to love? It all built to a cliffhanger that literally left me whining “Jennifer, how could you leave me hanging like this”!!! Needless to say I CANNOT wait to read book three: Evacuation! I am so blessed to have the Future Savior Series in my life. Every time I read any part of them my day gets about 10 shades brighter! And I am so thrilled that I have so much of this series yet to discover! The Future Savior Series is definitely, without a doubt one of my all time favorite series!!! I can't wait to see what happens next. I was completely entwined and enthralled by Resurrection, read it , you will be too.

Review of Raised Right: How I untangled my faith from politics by Alisa Harris 5 stars!

I could really relate to many things in this book. While my childhood was nowhere near as extremely political as the authors I have grown up with a very republican devoted father. I found myself feeling very sorry for the author when she documents being in college and realizing that being a political activist is the only identity she had. I loved the authors writing style, she is not preachy but rather simply expresses the lessons she has learned in her life in a very helpful and insightful way that I believe would open a lot of people's eyes. I loved the authors realization that the world is not black and white there are a lot of shades of gray too. Another thing I thought was awesome was the stand that the author took against titles and stereotypes, it made me proud to call myself a Christian feminist and an independent. The book was slightly hard to follow as the events are not listed chronologically, each chapter has a unique message and the author chronicles moments in her life when she learned pieces of the message of that chapter. I don't want to give to much away but I will just say that I agree almost one hundred percent with all of the authors conclusions. I found this book to be a quick read (I read it in just over a day) I would recommend it to anyone, teen and adult. I recieved this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review of Glamorous Illusions by Lisa Bergren 5 stars!!!

I actually had enough self control to not read the last four chapters last night! But I just finished it! Glamorous Illusions by Lisa Tawn Bergren. Is not as action packed as the River of time series (my favorite books of all time) and I was a little confused by the romance because I couldn't really tell what direction it was heading but that is great incentive to read the next book! I could relate to Cora very much, I know for a fact that if I was ever in her situation I would react exactly the same way! The message is awesome and the book itself is great! I am excited to read Grave Consequences book two of the Grand Tour series when it comes out!

Review of Eye Of The Sword by Karyn Henley 4 stars!

Before I started this book I did not know that it was second in a series. However, even without having read the first I found it to be quite easy to follow the story. This story fascinated me. I believe that angels are real, but I personally did not have a problem with the angels and the way they are portrayed in this book. The fact that this book is fairly short and I feel boasts everything you could want in a book like this is a testament to the authors writing ability and imagination. While this is not a comedy there are many moments of humor, particularly when Pym one of my favorite characters was around. I also very much loved the character Ollena. The characters and the world in which they live were very well thought and fully fleshed out. It was slightly disconcerting that no matter how far the characters had to travel, they could get there in no more than two days (even on horseback)but I understand that is for the sake of the story. I was disappointed that Princess Melaia was not always present in the story. The message of forgiving yourself for past mistakes and discovering who you truly are was well written and I believe that teens would be able to relate to it. Review of Future Savior Series book one:Conception by Jennifer Hartz

The authors imagination and passion leaps not only from the pages but from every single word of this mesmerizing read! Christina is such a believable and realistic character and the author is so talented that I could feel everything, every emotion, every plot twist, every struggle in this story so strongly it was as if I was living it myself! In fact when Christina had no one to spend her birthday with, my initial instinct was to call her up and invite her to go to the movies or something, because I could feel how lonely she was! And I really wanted to be a friend to her! Christina's reaction to arriving in Meric is very realistic, I loved watching her change from being a worldly, slightly cynical character to starting to become the woman she was intended to be throughout the course of the novel.

The land of Meric is beautifully created by Jennifer, it blends gorgeous landscapes and fabulous characters that you fall in love with instantly, with things that are considered impossible in our world such as green chickens, elves, unicorns etc. It is also fascinating because you do not know where Meric is in relation to America and whether it is the same year there as it is here or if by going to Meric you are time traveling. To me it felt like a mixture of The chronicles of Narnia and Alice in wonderland but with a story and history all it's own.

As a horse lover I loved all of the different horses that exist in Meric, this includes unicorns that were written so wonderfully that I could picture them standing before me. I also appreciated that all the horses have names, and that the characters refer to them by their name instead of referring to them as 'the horse'.

The romance is very tender and touching. It was a very interesting twist on the traditional love story in that the heroine has known the hero her whole life without realizing it.

Words cannot begin to describe Shaw's awesomeness, so I will just say that I admired his modesty and humility. Plus he drinks tea, any man who drinks tea is okay in my book! Needless to say I found myself falling for him.

Another thing that makes Conception absolutely perfect is the underlying message that God is in control, Jennifer wrote this in a way that I as a strong christian loved, but it was definitely not preachy so I don't think anybody would find it offensive. Jennifer's attention to detail was wonderful and I loved that she provided details and logistics (for example what Shaw had to do to avoid drawing attention to himself in America as he 'watched' Christina) that many authors don't bother to include in their stories.

I also love a Good vs Evil battle and I love scenes that occur in thunder storms. I must stop myself now to keep from giving away too much of the plot.

I know this review is all 'pros', but I honestly could not find a single 'con' in this story, it is absolutely flawless! I could go on forever about how amazingly incredible Conception is, it truly is a must read, and I cannot wait to read the next book! With five books in the Future Savior Series I am psyched at getting to spend a lot more time with these beloved characters in the enchanting and mesmerizing world of Meric.

I give Conception: Future Savior Series book one, 5 stars!

On second thought scratch that... because Conception really deserves all the stars in the sky!! Jennifer Hartz knocked my socks off and completely blew me away! I only wish I had more hands so I could give it more than two thumbs up!!! Read it and you'll see, it is superb!

Review of Until I Die by Amy Plum, 5 stars!!!

I know you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but this one has another gorgeous cover!!! In my opinion Amy Plum has done it again, she has created another masterpiece of storytelling and Revenant lore, once again I was riveted from the first page! Some people have been talking about until I die being a 'middle book' and having a lot of 'filler space'! I do NOT agree, until I die is had a pulsating plot thread that kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through it waiting to see what would happen next, in many ways the non action scenes added more suspense to the story than some of the action scenes! I firmly believe that until I die is MORE suspenseful than die for me! The authors writing and ability to deepen her mythology in this book absolutely knocked my socks off!!! As for the'middle book' stigma, although until I die is the second book in a trilogy there is no second book syndrome as I like to call it! Until I die's story line stands confidently on it's own! I am a huge Kate fan and truly appreciate how unlike Twilight's Bella she is! I especially loved that at one point Kate says that it is not that sheisn't a complete person on her own but that Vincent compliments her personality as she does his! Finally a teenager who knows that she is still a complete person and although she misses him she doesn't shrivel up and cry her eyes out when her boyfriend isn't with her every single second! How refreshing!!! The more I read Kate the more I feel that we are kindred spirits she and I (and could be best friends if she wasn't fictional) I loved this book! I recommend it, if you loved die for me you will not regret reading until I die! Here are the best and worst points. Best, NO love triangle, having a chance to get a deeper look at revenant mythology. Worst, Warning: cliffhanger alert, I am not usually a fan of cliffhanger endings but this one ahhh. So good!!! As cliffhangers go! And having to wait until next year for the final installment!!! I could go on for years about how amazing until I die is, but you would rather read it for yourself so I'll just say read it, read it.. READ IT!!! Treat yourself to until I die and you won't be sorry!!!

Here is my review of Waterfall by Lisa T Bergren

This is the most amazing book I have ever read. I found this just by chance and it has everything I could have ever wanted in a book, history, time travel, brave strong heroines, true love, humor, and lots more. If you love Twilight I am positive you will love this series, however you will not see any vampires. I can't say enough about this book, you will see what I mean. These books don't need anybody to say anything about them they speak for themselves how wonderful they are!!! Waterfall is a christian fiction novel, but it is not really preachy so I don't think that anybody would be offended by it. One thing I loved about Waterfall is that it does not include any of the garbage that is in so many young adult novels these days. Which is a huge find in and of itself. Bottom line if you are fed up with the current standard of some YA novels, treat yourself to this book, you will not regret it. P.S. If you like Twilight's Emmett you will love Luca! Just sayin!!!

My first ever blog post! Woohoo!

This is my first blog post ever, so I guess I will get started as a blogger by listing some of my favorite books I have read so far this year!!! Bourne (River of time series novella) by Lisa T Bergren, Die for me by Amy Plum, and the bride wore white by Dannah Gresh, Entwined by Heather Dixon!!! More to come! Happy reading!!!
