Review: All that it Takes by Nicole Deese

WOW, just wow! I finished this book in early September and have been trying to find the words to describe how incredibly beautiful this story is. I know that nothing I can say will come close to doing this book justice, but I will try my best to communicate just how much I loved this story!

I read All that Really Matters a few months ago, it became a favorite of the year, and I didn’t think it would be possible to top it but I adored All that it Takes even more!

I loved Val, and though we don’t have a whole lot in common I found myself relating to her so much personality-wise! And I adored Miles so much! His faithful devotion to Jesus, his loving kindness, his steadfast support and encouragement, and his sense of humor completely melted my heart! There simply aren’t words to fully say what an amazing hero he is! I need a Miles in my life!

This story held me captivated from beginning to end! I loved the moments of humor that were woven so brilliantly into the story, and so many times this book had me laughing out loud, especially the light saber assault IYKYK!

The faith story is magnificently written and soul-stirringly powerful, and I can’t begin to find the words to express how deeply it touched my heart. Seeing God working in all aspects of this story to do something so incredible actually brought tears to my eyes, and I almost never cry at books. This story has left a permanent imprint on my heart and I will never be the same! You need this book in your life! This story will change hearts and lives! And I fully anticipate it will win a ton of awards next year!

I seriously adored every single second of All that it Takes, and I wish I could read it for the first time all over again!

ALL THAT IT TAKES WILL BE ONE OF MY TOP FIVE FAVORITES OF THE YEAR!

I MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK,

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ IT ASAP!

Review: To Win a Prince by Toni Shiloh

What a lovely follow-up to In Search of a Prince! I loved Iris in the previous book and was so excited for her story! I found myself relating to Iris quite a bit, and her story was beautiful and everything I dreamed it would be! The hero in this book was awesome, and I loved his redemption story!

It was such a joy to return to this beautiful African kingdom, and I loved getting to catch up with Brielle!

As always I LOVED how naturally and authentically Toni Shiloh weaves the faith story into her books, absolute perfection!

I loved To Win a Prince and most highly recommend it, you could read this one as a stand-alone, but In Search of a Prince is fantastic as well, and you really don’t want to miss a single minute of this duology!

This quote from Iris really spoke to my heart:

“I believe because in my darkest time, God showed me who He was and how much love He had for me.”

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher.

My Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh my stars! No words I can string together could possibly come close to doing justice to the stunningly beautiful masterpiece that is this book, but I will do my best!
Hannah Currie is a brilliant and tremendously talented author and I am a forever fan of her books, I’ve read and adored all of them, but honestly I think Bring Her Home may be my favorite!
This story went deeper than I was expecting, but I am so grateful that it did because it truly touched me deeply! Bring Her Home is heart-wrenching, and deeply emotional, but it is a soul stirring and heart-meltingly beautiful story of love and redemption! Even though my story and my struggles are very different from Eva’s I could totally relate to her feelings of shame and guilt, and believing she was unworthy, and unlovable. This book so beautifully reminded me with each chapter that because Jesus died for me I am forgiven, I am loved more than I can possibly fathom, and nothing can change the fact that I am a Daughter of the King. Seriously, there were moments that joyful tears filled my eyes while reading this book, and I almost never cry at books!
I loved Eva and I was cheering her on from the start. And Darrek, oh my goodness, what an incredible hero, he was the perfect mix of selfless steadfast tenderness, and “Touch her and you die.” I seriously cannot find the words to say how amazing he is and how much I love him! Note to my future husband: the bar you need to surpass in order to win my heart is now set at Sir Darrek, so you better be reading Bring Her Home and taking all the notes! (I’m kidding, mostly!)
I was completely enthralled with this story from the first page to the last, and hated to stop reading!
I don’t say this lightly, but this book seriously has the power to change lives! And in the future I fully anticipate seeing it listed alongside Redeeming Love as a classic of the Christian romance genre!
I truly can’t find the words to say how much I loved this book! Bring Her Home is one of my favorite reads of 2022, and it is one that I will be recommending forever! I wish I could give this book 10 stars!
Please do yourself a favor and read it ASAP!
Trigger warning: this book tackles mental illness, and self-harm. I felt it was handled with the utmost grace and sensitivity, but it may be triggering for some readers so I wanted to point this out.

I received a complimentary ebook copy of this book from the publisher.
