Review: Enduring Love by Toni Shiloh

5 Stars!
WARNING: this review probably won't be much more than a total gush-fest. You have been warned! ;)
How do I even begin to describe all the things I loved about this book?! Well, for starters it's TONI SHILOH! She is one of my all-time favorite authors, and I know without a doubt that I would be enthralled with a phone book or appliance owner's manual if Toni was the one writing it! Like all of Toni's books these characters grabbed me at page one and wouldn't let go! I totally fell for Micah last year when he first appeared in the previous book, Finding Love, and I was beyond excited when I heard that book three was his story, I LOVED HIM SO MUCH in this book. He is such a kind, patient, generous, caring, protective, amazing man, and best of all he loves Jesus with everything in him! I'm serious, ladies! Micah Campbell is total swoon-worthy book boyfriend material (But then so are ALL of the heroes Toni writes!)
I instantly liked Belle, my heart broke for all she had been through and I found myself wanting to give her a hug and be her friend! Even though I haven't gone through anything even remotely similar to what she did, I could really relate to her personal struggle between wanting to dress modestly and not attract attention to herself, but at the same time wanting to wear clothes that were flattering, and pretty, and at times wondering if it is even possible to have both.
The faith story in this book deeply touched my heart and I felt myself growing in my faith right alongside the characters!
I loved everything about this book SOOOO MUCH, and was in a state of pure bliss every moment I was reading it! Getting to visit all my old friends again was so awesome. I love Maple Run, it's one of my favorite fictional towns and I can't wait for my next visit!
Overall, I adored every moment of Enduring Love and highly recommend it (as well as all of Toni's other books!) to each and every fan of Christian contemporary romance. Read it, you won't be sorry, but be prepared to set aside plenty of free time before you begin because you will be swept away and glued to the page until you turn the final one!
Enduring Love has a spot on my list of favorite reads of 2018, and I am eagerly anticipating Nikki and Shorty's story!

I received an ebook copy of this book from the author and publisher which did not influence my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review: A Defense of Honor by Kristi Ann Hunter

5 Stars!
Another absolutely splendid novel from Kristi Ann Hunter! I have been eagerly anticipating this first novel in the Haven Manor series since March when I read the prequel novella, A Search for Refuge! I knew A Defense of Honor was going to be fabulous and to say that I was not disappointed would be a humongous understatement, I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH! This story grabbed hold of me on page one and would not let go! When I pick up a book by this author I know I'm in for a super fun, witty ride that somehow also manages to strengthen my faith, touch my heart, and make me think, and that is exactly what A Defense of Honor did! I will be thinking about this story for a long time to come. I loved Kit, Daphne, and Jess (I loved Jess in A Noble Masquerade, and I was thrilled to get to hang out with her again!) not to mention all the delightful children! And Graham, oh my word! What a noble, Godly, caring, lovable, hilarious, swoon-worthy hero. Kit, you're one lucky lady! These characters have become like dear friends to me and I so look forward to hanging out with them again!
I also absolutely loved watching Kit and Graham grow in their faith, the faith journey they took has challenged and inspired me in my own life, and was exactly what I needed to read at this point in my life!
I don't want to risk spoiling anything so I will just say that I absolutely adored every moment I spent reading this book, and hated to see it end, but a sigh of happiness escaped my lips when I turned the final page! A Defense of Honor is one of my favorite reads of 2018 so far, I definitely plan on rereading it in the future, and I can't wait for the rest of the series! Highly recommended, I would give it every star in the sky if I could, but alas I am forced to limit my rating to five stars! Seriously, read it, read it, READ IT, you will not be sorry!

Thank you to the author and publisher for sending me a copy of this book to help promote it. Which did not influence my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.
