Review of The Orphan King by Sigmund Brouwer 5 Stars!!!

This is the first book I have ever read by this author. But I thoroughly enjoyed The Orphan King from start to finish! It has two of my favorite things, it is set in medieval England, and it has the beginnings of what I know will be an awesome good versus evil battle in the coming books! I was fascinated by all the characters but especially Katherine, William the cryptic knight, and Thomas our hero. Thomas is just so cool and brilliant, I don' t often read books that have a young male hero as the main character, but I am very glad I read this one, throughout the book Thomas felt to me like a good, medieval, Artemis Fowl. What an interesting conundrum, huh? If that doesn't pique your interest I don't know what will. The Orphan King was brilliantly written, at the end we still don't know much about the immortals and basically more new questions are brought into the story than old questions resolved! It was a short read, I read it in a day. I highly recommend The Orphan King and I anxiously await the next book in this series. What can I say, I'm hooked!!! Click HERE to check out the authors site. HERE for the authors bio. HERE for more info. And HERE To read chapter one.

I recieved this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah in exchange for an honest review. I have done so. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review of Future Savior book three: Evacuation by Jennifer Hartz 5 Stars!!!

Three words. Oh. My. Gosh! I can't count how many times I said those words as I was reading Evacuation! Jennifer Hartz hit it out of the park yet again! I love, love, LOVE this series and Evacuation most definitely did not disappoint! There really are no words to describe it, awesome? Amazing? Incredible? None of those words do Evacuation justice, it is phenomenal! From the first page I was swept away yet again and it was like I had never left Meric! I was so excited to be back with these characters, I especially adore Drexton, Beliza and Markella!  I don't want to risk spoiling it for anybody, but let me just say, I didn't think I could be anymore entranced by Shaw but I was proven wrong, if you love Shaw and want to know more about him , you 're gonna go nuts over what is in this one! Evacuation is full of amazing twists and turns, many of which I did not and would not in a million years have seen coming! Jennifer Hartz is a master not only of fantasy but also suspense as it all came down to a killer cliffhanger that left me whining yet again about how much Jennifer tortures her poor readers! LOL!!! I am so in love with this series, they are books I have been waiting all my life to find!  I think that Evacuation is my favorite so far! There is no possible way Evacuation could have been any better, it is absolutely perfect! My only complaint is that Desecration the next installment isn't being released until December! I cannot wait for it because I am positive it will be out of this world!!! If you are a fan of this series you will not be disappointed by Evacuation! If you haven't started this series yet, then what in the world are you waiting for? Go get them now!

Review of Trusting God by Sharon Jaynes, Gwen Smith and Mary Southerland 5 stars!

This is an excellent devotional. It is designed to be a twelve week program and I read it in just a few days but I know that I will use it many times in the future to my inspire me to trust God even more! I loved that the authors used moments from their own lives to get their point across! I felt my love and trust for Jesus and God grow as I was reading this book! This is one of the best devotionals I have ever found, I highly recommend it! I recieved this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah. I was not required to write a positive review but simply to express my personal opinion of this book. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Review of The Bride Wore Blue by Mona Hodgson 4.5 stars!

I have not read the first two books in this series. But when I was offered a chance to review this book from the publisher I jumped at the chance! And I am glad I did! I so enjoyed getting to know these characters, although I did have a bit of trouble keeping them all straight in the beginning, but I think this was probably because I haven't read the previous books, yet. The four sisters were all very unique and charming and their relationships with each other were very realistic. I am blessed to have a wonderful family that bands together through the good and the bad, so I will always love to read about families that do the same, this is one of those books! I loved the message of this book, learning that God still loves you unconditionally, even after you have sinned and although you feel unworthy, you have His forgiveness. Basically this story was awesome and I loved reading it! The only thing that kept me from giving it five stars was that it moved slowly and the plot line progressed slower than I would have liked. Because of this it could be kind of hard to get into the swing of things, but persevere, it is totally worth it! I very much enjoyed this book, honestly I usually stay away from series like this because I feel like most of them are all the same but this series has something  unique and special about it. I know fans of this series will love this book and as a new fan of this author I am here to say that you do not need to read the previous books in order for this one to make sense. I love series like that. However I look forward to going back and reading the previous books. I absolutely recommend this book.  Mona Hodgson definitely has a new fan in me!  I recieved this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review but simply to express my personal opinion of this book. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.
